Website Privacy Notice
Effective date: 4 October 2026
This notice covers KARP’s prelaunch website, its Google-hosted enquiry form and email enquiries. You do not need a Google account to submit the form. It does not cover the future KARP app, bookings or Karper applications; those activities will need separate, updated notices before launch.
Who is responsible
Karp Tech Sdn Bhd, company registration number 202501059104 (1660510-W), is responsible for personal information handled through this website and enquiries sent to support@karp.io. The KARP Privacy Team handles privacy requests through that address.
Information you choose to send
The Google-hosted enquiry form asks for your name, email address, enquiry type and message, and includes your selected language and a reference number in the email sent to support@karp.io. The form does not accept attachments. Direct email may also include attachments or other details you choose to send. Making an enquiry is optional, but we need a way to reply if you want a response. Do not send identity documents, payment details, health information or other sensitive material in a general enquiry.
Website visits, cookies and tracking
The website links to a standalone Google Apps Script enquiry form. KARP has not added advertising trackers or visitor analytics to the website or form. Our hosting and form providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs, and use cookies needed to deliver and protect their services. Our statement about no advertising trackers does not mean that provider-operated services collect no technical information.
Why we use information
We use information you send to read and answer your enquiry, manage necessary follow-up and keep relevant business records. We do not use enquiry email addresses for marketing; any future marketing signup would be separate. Technical connection details are used to operate and protect the website. An email enquiry is not a booking or Karper application, and the current website has no newsletter signup.
Who may receive it
Authorised KARP support group members may see your enquiry and replies. Google Apps Script processes form submissions and Google Workspace delivers them to support@karp.io. OpenAI ChatGPT Sites hosts the website; GoDaddy manages our domain. The enquiry script does not save message content in a separate spreadsheet or database. It stores hashed identifiers, references, status and timestamps to limit repeated submissions; records older than 24 hours are pruned when a later submission runs, not by a scheduled daily deletion. Our providers may process information outside Malaysia. We do not promise Malaysia-only storage. Provider-controlled technical records and backup deletion follow the applicable provider arrangements, not the support team's 12-month email cleanup schedule.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
KARP Customer Support checks new enquiries every working day and aims to reply promptly. Separately, the team reviews old conversations manually each month and deletes routine enquiry emails whose last reply was more than 12 months ago. This review covers Google Groups conversation history and copies in team mailboxes; deletion takes place during the monthly review, not automatically on the 12-month anniversary. Specific records needed for an active dispute or legal obligation are retained until that reason ends. The monthly cleanup does not delay responses to new enquiries. Access is limited to authorised team members.
Your choices and requests
You are not required to make an enquiry. You may contact support@karp.io to ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, ask us to stop an optional use, withdraw permission where applicable, or request deletion where the law allows. We may need to verify your identity and retain some records where required by law.
Changes and contact
Contact the KARP Privacy Team at support@karp.io about this notice or your information. We will review this notice when the website, hosting or email practices change. Before the app or any booking and Karper application processes become available, KARP will need notices that explain those separate activities.
